Tutanota offers a flexible subscription model designed to cater to individuals, families, professionals, and businesses. Available Plans
- Free: Basic secure email with 1 GB storage and limited features.
- Premium: Unlock custom domains, inbox rules, and email aliases.
- Teams: Shared calendar, group access, and admin management.
- Pro & Business: Enhanced admin controls, whitelabeling, and support for large teams.
Payment Methods
Tutanota accepts multiple secure payment methods to accommodate global users:
- Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, etc.)
- PayPal
- Bitcoin (for anonymous payments)
- SEPA Bank Transfer (within EU)
Invoicing & Receipts
All paid subscriptions receive a downloadable invoice from the Tutanota dashboard. To access:
- Log in to your account
- Go to Settings → Subscription
- Click Invoices to view and download
Upgrading or Downgrading
You can change your plan anytime:
- Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing
- Downgrades occur at the end of your billing cycle
- You can add/remove users, aliases, or storage
Renewal & Expiry
Subscriptions auto-renew based on your chosen cycle (monthly or yearly). You’ll receive email reminders before renewal. To avoid service disruption, ensure payment methods are valid and updated.
Canceling a Subscription
- Go to Settings → Subscription
- Select Cancel and confirm
- Your subscription will continue until the current billing cycle ends
